Our Specialisms
Our founding mentors having excelled in both their clinical and medico-legal practices. In addition, they have all demonstrated a willingness to engage in mentorship, peer review, and ongoing training, recognising that the lack of quality expert evidence in injury litigation is beginning to undermine the litigation process.
By structuring experts into specialisms, every specialism will benefit from subject-matter depth, experienced oversight, a consistent professional approach, and access to the most reliable data and papers that impact an expert’s final opinion. In addition, Pathway provides mandatory expert training and continuing professional development. This is provided from both medical and legal perspectives, with open access to training for all members. This is in addition to generic collegiate support structures which promote the Pathway vision.
The Specialism based model supports effective mentorship and supervision, ensuring that less experienced experts develop within a controlled and supportive environment. It also enables the chambers to respond to demand across a broad range of specialisms, providing instructing parties with a one-stop shop for independent but quality assured expert evidence for their serious injury and clinical negligence cases.
