I am a Consultant Neurologist jointly appointed to Barts Health NHS Trust and Homerton NHS Foundation Trust since 2004 and have been in medicolegal practice since 2006. My specialist interests are in brain injury and neurological rehabilitation. I have extensive clinical experience in acquired brain injuries and the entire patient pathway, including acute rehabilitation following head injury at a major trauma centre (Royal London Hospital), weekly hypoxic brain injury reviews at a regional cardiac centre (St Bartholomew’s Hospital), as the director of a Level 1 neurorehabilitation unit (Homerton Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit), as medical lead for a specialist community neurorehabilitation service (Homerton Outreach service), in brain injury social rehabilitation (trustee at Headway East London), and long term follow up of people following head injuries in a specialist neurodisability clinic. I only accept medicolegal cases on brain injuries and I no longer undertake private practice.
