Mr Falworth’s practice is solely limited to the management of shoulder and elbow conditions. His expertise in this field was recognised by his appointment as a Consultant Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore in 2006. He brings this experience to his private practice, which is based on the multidisciplinary approach to the surgical and non-surgical treatments of conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. Patients’ needs, and the use of physiotherapy and interventional radiology techniques, are always considered before surgical solutions are discussed and utilised. All treatments are evidence based and reflect the exacting standards that Mr Falworth adheres to.
Mr Falworth qualified in Medicine from King’s College Hospital, London in 1996. His higher specialist orthopaedic training was undertaken on the St Mary’s Hospital (Northwest Thames) rotation where he gained extensive experience in shoulder and elbow surgery after working with some of the UK’s leading shoulder surgeons. He then undertook more specialist training at the internationally acclaimed Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore under the guidance of Ian Bayley, before he undertook just under two years of further specialist Fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery.
