Pernille is a chartered and state registered physiotherapist who has specialised in the field of spinal cord injury since 1995. She practices in the NHS at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre, Salisbury District Hospital, where she has been a member of the outpatient team since 2002. Her clinical role involves long-term physiotherapy management of patients at all stages following discharge from the spinal centre, from recently to long-term injured.

For more than twenty-five years Pernille has combined her clinical role with expert witness work, having undergone formal training provided by Bond Solon. She provides reports in cases for clients with paraplegia and tetraplegia, including those with ultra-high, complete and incomplete lesions. Pernille prepare reports for both adults and children and accepts instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. She has given evidence in Court and is an individual member of the Expert Witness Institute.
