We’re delighted that the launch of Pathway Expert Chambers has been featured by John Hyde in The Law Society Gazette.
Pathway Expert Chambers was founded to address a challenge that lawyers across catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence know only too well: too few experienced expert witnesses, waiting lists that can stretch to 12–18 months, and the risk that shortages are filled by individuals without the level of expertise the courts require.
Our solution is a chambers-style model rather than a traditional agency.
Membership is by invitation and based on professional suitability. Every member practises independently and remains wholly responsible for their own opinion, while benefiting from a collegiate environment that provides mentorship, training and peer support. The aim is to support the delivery of expert evidence that is timely, robust, fully reasoned and able to withstand scrutiny.
Like many of our mentors, Pathway intends to be instructed by both claimant and defendant lawyers alike, maintaining an unbiased reputation across the industry.
Just as importantly, we are committed to developing the next generation of expert witnesses through structured mentoring from highly experienced practitioners, helping to address the long-term shortage of expertise across the sector.
Thank you to John Hyde and The Law Society Gazette for highlighting the need for innovative approaches to strengthening the expert witness community.
